To Improve Viewing of This and Other Internet Sites:

Introduction

If your monitor is not optimized for internet-viewing, this and other internet sites might stretch beyond the boundaries of your screen. This requires you to navigate to the left and right to see the entire page.

If pages at www.botanypages.org appear wider than your monitor, or if text is cut off by framed windows, then you need to take one or both of the following actions:

1. Set your monitor for a higher resolution (i.e., higher than 800 x 600). You should set it for 1024 x 768 or higher.

You can do this by following this procedure:

(1) Go to your desktop
(2) Right mouse click, choose Properties
(3) Choose the Settings tab above
(4) Increase your screen resolution by using the sliding scale
(5) Choose Apply and OK.

2.  Change your text size settings in your web browser (i.e., Internet Explorer).

To change the text size, choose the menu VIEW > TEXT SIZE >. Choose medium, small, or smallest for best viewing.
